Workshop “Last Minute” di Fine Luglio

Disegnare il Nudo e Dipingere il Paesaggio

Per chi vuole fare una avventura nella campagnia di Lazio, sono stato invitato da Valeria, Nadia e Franco di fare un workshop “last minute” in Fara in Sabina, sabato il 31 luglio e domenica il 1 agosto.

Il programma per tutti e due i giorni: disegnare con grafite su carta dall modella nella mattina e dipingere sulle tavole di tela il paesaggio nel pomeriggio; quindi per un totale di 12 ore.  Il costo e’ di euro 150 e NON include i materiali; ognuno deve portare quello che serve per disegnare e per dipingere.

Il workshop avra’ MAX 6 persone e al momento sono rimasti 2 posti.

Un Gran Finale del Workshop di Disegno: Proporzioni Senza Tempo

Questa mattina abbiamo concluso il workshop di disegno alla Centrale Montemartini.  Come al solito, gli impiegati del Museo sono stati molto disponibili e li ringrazio, in particolare un grazie speciale a Novella!

All’inizio di questo workshop (solo una settimana fa!), mi chiedevo se saremmo riusciti a percorrere una buona strada in soli 4 giorni / 16 ore di lavoro intenso, ma qualunque dubbio avessi e’ stato scacciato oggi con una prestazione favolosa di tutti gli allievi.

Presento sotto una galleria dell’ultimo disegno di ciascuno; purtroppo oggi non erano presenti due studenti… e ci sono mancati tanto!

Sono davvero orgoglioso di tutti e vi ringrazio per la vostra partecipazione.

The Villas of Rome: Painting in Oil “alla prima”

If you have ever dreamed of painting in oil out in the open air in the middle of an Italian villa, here’s your chance: join the American painter Timothy Joseph Allen for a 4-day adventure painting “alla prima” in some of Rome’s most beautiful villas:   Villa Ada, Villa Pamphilj, Villa Borghese and on the last day we will set up on the Aventine hill next to Rome’s Rose garden and look out over Circus Maximus toward the majestic ruins of Palatine hill.

This workshop is limited to those who have already had some experience painting in oil or who have already had taken a course at The Painting & Drawing Art Studio of Rome.  For those without any experience wanting to take this workshop, we recommend you take the 4-day drawing workshop that precedes this one.

Timeless Proportions: Drawing the Classical Figure in the Museums of Rome

For those who love drawing the Classical figure, Rome offers a unique experience.  Join the American painter Timothy Joseph Allen on a 4-day adventure drawing in several of Rome’s spectacular museums that feature the Classical figure:  Palazzo Massimo, Palazzo Altemps, Hendrik Christian Andersen Museum e Centrale Montemartini.

This workshop is intended for beginners and intermediates.

ThemeInstruction and investigation of composition and color strategies designed to facilitate the completion of a painting in an afternoon…alla prima!
LevelIntermediate
TimeThe workshop will last a total of 20 hours over 4 days (5 hours a day) during the two last weekends of June: Saturday the 19th and Sunday the 20th; Saturday the 26th and Sunday the 27th. Each lesson will begin at 14:00 and end at 19:00.
Number of Persons Minimum 6 - maximum 12 ...first come, first serve.
CostThe price of the workshop is €398 including materials (Please find a list of the materials below). 10% discount for registration before May 1: €360 instead of €398.
