Figure Drawing for Beginners and Open Studio for Advanced Painters
- Where: The Grand Hotel Tiberio, Sala Tiberina 2 (downstairs);
- When: 19:00 to 21:00, Friday, October 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th;
- 1 pose for two hours;
- Cost: €30 for the two hours, model fee included. Materials not included.
In light of our temporary displacement from La Bottega dell’Artista in Trastevere, I am thrilled to present a month-long beginning drawing course at the Grand Hotel Tiberio.
We will work with charcoal on paper (sketch pads of 60 x 80 cm are highly recommended) and we will focus on:
- Scale and Proportion
- Modeling form with light and shade
- Composition
I am also pleased to invite advanced painters interested in working from life on a two-hour pose.

Beginning Drawers
- Portable easel (a French easel or similar should suffice)
- Drop cloth measuring at least 1.5 square meters
- Charcoal
- Sketch pad (measuring 60 x 80 cm)

Advanced Painters

How to Get to the Grand Hotel Tiberio
Address: Via Lattanzio, 51, 00136 Roma
The Grand Hotel Tiberio is located in the Balduina area, north of the Vatican. The easiest way from the the city center is to take the Tram 8 to the Trastevere train station, then take the train from Track 6 toward Viterbo/Cesano/Bracciano for four stops and get off at the Appiano train station (10 minutes train ride).
