Painting the Flemish Portrait

Open Seminar – Multi-figure Compositions

- Additional Info: The spirit of this new endeavor is to launch a long-overdue conversation on the creation of multi-figure compositions. The first five sessions will be a series of lectures that address the formal considerations, narrative implications and subsequent metaphorical interpretations that multi-figure compositions invite. After the first five sessions, the focus will shift to a critique and analysis of the Intermediate and Advanced painters’ compositions.
